About Me

music as memory, texture, and honesty.

I make music because I like figuring things out. Jazz, R&B, indie rock — all of it bleeds together for me. I produce everything myself, not because I have to, but because I want it to feel honest. If I mess something up, I want it to stay messed up.

I grew up in Lansing, Michigan. A lot of quiet time, a lot of listening. Music ended up becoming a place I could put thoughts I didn’t really know how to say yet. Some days it feels mature, other days it feels childish, but I think that’s the point. This is mostly just a journal with melodies attached.
